Professional Background Screening Association’s Annual Conference

On October 14, 2025, the Sacramento Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court presented member June Coleman with the Inn’s 2024-2025 Joe Ramsey Voice of Conscience award. As noted during the presentation of the award, the Joe Ramsey Voice of Conscience recognizes a member of the Inn who, “during audience discussion of issues raised in program presentations, speaks up to say that, whatever the situation, lawyers and judges must act ethically, civilly, and do the right thing regardless of the consequences. By words and actions, the recipient consistently demonstrates all that is good about the practice of law.”
