Joseph S. Messer provides comprehensive legal representation to businesses of all sizes. He also brings to his practice decades of experience in litigation complex and high-stakes commercial matters, providing his clients with a depth of knowledge few firms can offer.
Mr. Messer has served as an Illinois Special Assistant Attorney General, representing the Department of Transportation and the Department of Natural Resources. He maintains active membership in several professional organizations, including the Professional Background Screeners Association, and has received ACA International’s prestigious Fellow designation in recognition of his industry experience and commitment to educational and professional development. Mr. Messer is a frequent author and lecturer on matters of interest to his clients, and he provides regular seminars, webinars and CLEs to businesses and trade organizations.
Mr. Messer is devoted to the success of the businesses he represents. Over the years, he has successfully assisted clients through thousands of purchase and sale contracts, loan agreements, leases, operating agreements and employment contracts. Mr. Messer also represents his corporate and commercial clients in litigation matters of all types, from defending his clients in adverse litigation to vigorously protecting their interests. Mr. Messer has successfully tried cases in federal and state courts, and has collected multi-million dollar judgments for his clients.
