Chlo’e L. Thornton focuses her practice in the representation of clients in business and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on consumer protection defense claims. Serving as the lead for the Firm’s Georgia office, her vast courtroom experience has allowed her to successfully defend clients with intention to detail and care. Chlo’e’s prior litigation experience in insurance defense, education law which included representation of major metro Atlanta schools, workers’ compensation, and creditors’ rights involving foreclosure and replevin suits have provided her with a diverse foundation to proactively protect clients’ interests throughout the litigation cycle.
Chlo’e supports the Firm’s practice in defending creditors, FinTech lenders, finance companies, attorneys, and background screening agencies in commercial, employment, and consumer financial services litigation involving state and federal consumer protection laws including the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and Georgia Fair Business Practices Act (GFBPA). She has solely litigated numerous trials across the State of Georgia throughout her years of practice, generating favorable outcomes for her clients.
Chlo’e is admitted to practice in the State of Georgia, U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, Georgia Court of Appeals, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
