Lori J. Quinn began her career handling maritime and admiralty matters, which gave her a deep familiarity with—as well as a broad subject matter overview of—civil litigation. Since then, Lori has developed a national practice, defending businesses and professionals under a variety of consumer protection and other federal and state laws. Lori is known for the depth of her familiarity with every one of her cases, and for using that familiarity to her clients’ clear advantage.
Lori is admitted to practice in federal and state court in New York and New Jersey, as well as a variety of federal district and bankruptcy courts across the country. Lori is a Proctor in Admiralty and has been a member of Maritime Law Association of the United States (MLAUS) since August 2004.
Lori has over 22 years of experience as a civil defense attorney. Her early litigation excellence led her to consumer protection defense, where she has a well-deserved reputation for successfully tailoring her representation to each of her client’s needs. She concentrates her practice on professional liability claims, including creditors’ rights defense under the Fair Debt Practices Collections Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act and related State Court consumer protection laws. Lori also has extensive experience litigating professional liability claims of a variety of types, and her work has given her substantial experience in both federal district and bankruptcy courts in addition to her state court practice. She is nationally known for her client-centered approach to cases and the application of her broad knowledge and experience to every facet of her clients’ business practices.
