Kylie Prieto is an Associate in Messer Strickler Burnette’s Jacksonville, FL office, focusing her practice on financial services litigation. She represents clients in complex business and financial disputes, drawing on her diverse background in corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters.
Kylie earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was a part of the Counseling Creators Negotiation Competition, LawWithoutWalls, and served on the founding executive board of the Fashion Law Society. She is admitted to practice in Florida’s state (and federal district courts).
Prior to joining the firm, Kylie gained experience in both in-house and private practice settings, including internships held with one of the world’s largest privately held international spirits companies, and with America’s largest family-owned distilled spirits producer, where she assisted with regulatory compliance and contract drafting. She also interned with the University of Miami Office of Technology Transfer, supporting intellectual property protection and commercialization efforts of the major research university.
